Routes: 50 miles (8am start) and 35 miles (9am start)

Start / Finish Location: Staten Island Urby parking lot (across the street from Urby), Staten Island NY

The Tour de Staten Island is a friendly ride where 2,000 cyclists coast through the borough's most breathtaking and lesser-known scenery on the cusp of spring. Both the 35 and 50 mile routes explore Staten Island's gems: Freshkills Park, Great Kills Park, Historic Richmond Town, and the oceanfront's striking views of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and New York Harbor.

A beautiful way to welcome the new spring, the Tour de Staten Island is great for riders of all ages and abilities. Riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian. Helmets are mandatory for children 14 and under and strongly encouraged for riders of all ages. Children under 10 years old are encouraged to ride in a carrier or on a tandem bike with a parent.

Invite your friends and family to cheer for you along the route! There are no road closures so riders are asked to stay to the right of the road. Be sure to ride at a safe speed and obey traffic laws at all times. We ride rain or shine.

Want to help make the Tour de Staten Island the best foray under the sun? Volunteer at the start, rest stops or as a riding marshal. You’ll enjoy a great day in the greenest borough of New York City and leave with the satisfaction of helping others and leading the way in making NYC streets safer for everyone, including yourself.
